On October 11, 2026, Team ROA proudly participated in the 42nd Annual Army Ten-Miler in Washington, D.C., joining thousands of runners from across the country in one of the nation’s most celebrated military running traditions.
Representing ROA, Team ROA runners took on the 10-mile course in support of our nation’s Reserve Component service members and their families. Their participation reflected not only a commitment to physical endurance and personal achievement, but also a shared dedication to those who serve.
Through the generosity of our runners, donors, and supporters, ROA raised funds to support programs that benefit members of the Reserve Component and their families.
This year’s participation was made possible through the generous support of several valued sponsors. ROA extends its sincere appreciation to Systems Planning and Analysis (SPA), ROA’s Department of New York, and our National President, MG Peggy Wilmoth, U.S. Army (Ret.), for their generosity and commitment to Team ROA. Their support helped provide race entries, team apparel, and opportunities for runners to come together throughout the weekend.
In preparation for race day, Team ROA joined wear blue: run to remember and the Whiskey Valor Foundation for a collaborative shakeout run, bringing together runners and supporters from across the military community. ROA was proud to provide refreshments for participants, while a team dinner organized in partnership with Whiskey Valor Foundation offered another opportunity to connect and celebrate ahead of the race.
Beyond the finish line, the Army Ten-Miler serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience, camaraderie, and shared commitment to service that define our military community. Through events like this, ROA continues to strengthen relationships, engage new supporters, and raise awareness of its mission.
To our runners, donors, sponsors, and community partners: thank you for making the 2026 Army Ten-Miler a success. Your generosity and enthusiasm help ROA continue advocating for the men and women of America’s Reserve Components.
We look forward to building on this year’s momentum and returning to the starting line in 2027!
