On October 16, 2026, ROA proudly hosted its inaugural Reserve Excellence Celebration at the National Museum of the United States Army in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The evening brought together military leaders, distinguished guests, community partners, and supporters to recognize the extraordinary achievements and contributions of our nation’s Reserve Component service members.
The celebration provided an opportunity to honor individuals and organizations whose dedication, leadership, and commitment to service exemplify the very best of America’s Reserve forces. From outstanding individual achievements to organizational excellence, the evening highlighted the critical role our Reserve Components play in strengthening our national defense and supporting communities across the country.
Guests enjoyed an evening of fellowship, recognition, and reflection on the service and sacrifice of those who answer the call to serve. The event also reinforced ROA’s longstanding commitment to advocating for, supporting, and celebrating the men and women of the Reserve Components.

Recognizing Our Valued Partners and Sponsors
The success of the Reserve Excellence Celebration would not have been possible without the generosity and partnership of organizations that share ROA’s commitment to those who serve.
ROA extends its sincere appreciation to AMBA, our longest-standing partner, for its continued commitment to serving ROA members through access to supplemental insurance and valuable member benefits. AMBA’s enduring partnership reflects a shared dedication to supporting our nation’s Reserve Component service members and their families.
We are equally grateful to Oxford Harriman & Co., our Printing Sponsor, and AmeriCorps, our Décor Sponsor, whose contributions helped bring this special evening to life.
Special thanks also go to ROA’s Department of New York and Department of Virginia for their generous support of the celebration.
We would also like to recognize the Whiskey Valor Foundation for providing complimentary Uber vouchers to attendees, helping ensure guests had access to safe transportation following the evening’s festivities.
Finally, ROA extends its appreciation to Blue Bolt Spirits, a Marine Corps reservist-owned business and valued partner, for its support and shared commitment to the military community.
Building a Tradition of Excellence
As ROA looks toward the future, events like the Reserve Excellence Celebration serve as an important reminder of why our mission matters. Recognizing excellence, strengthening partnerships, and bringing together those who support our Reserve Components are essential to ensuring their continued success.
To our award recipients, guests, sponsors, and supporters: thank you for making our inaugural Reserve Excellence Celebration a memorable evening. We look forward to building upon this tradition of honoring excellence in Reserve service for years to come.
