In 2026, ROA launched a new academic alliance with Norwich University, expanding real opportunity for today’s citizen-service member. This partnership delivers exclusive tuition savings and access to a nationally respected institution built on leadership, discipline, and strategic impact. Stronger education. Sharper leadership. Greater advantage.

All currently serving Reserve Component members and Guard and Reserve Retirees can access the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Libraries online. Get access to newspapers, magazines, genealogy research, ebooks, research materials, and a massive digital collection trove – all free! This is a great resource to advance your military and civilian careers!

Available for Guard and Reserve families: Children’s Corner, part of the DoD MWR Library, with access to Tutor.Com (tutoring and homework help); curriculum for Pre-K, Elementary, and Middle School children; and age-appropriate books, games, and videos.

Supercharge your national security research with the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC). Access technical reports, studies on America’s Reserve forces, and large-scale combat and mobilization exercises – all augmented with Artificial Intelligence search assistance.

Available for free to currently serving Reserve and Guard service members: AI-powered tools, structured guidance, and practical resources that support resilience, career development, family stability, and long-term success during and after your military service.

Much of your Reserve service counts toward educational assistance through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Check out their “GI Bill Comparison Tool” to see how benefits you’ve earned can support your education journey. ROA recommends all Reserve Component members establish an account with the VA to see what information they have for your duty periods, information required for home loans, and educational assistance.
