LA CONFÉDÉRATION INTERALLIÉE DES OFFICIERS DE RÉSERVE (CIOR)

CIOR represents the interests of over 1.3 million reservists across 34 participating nations within and beyond NATO, making it the world’s largest military reserve officer organization.The United States joined CIOR in 1958 with ROA being designated by the U.S. Department of War to serve as the United States Executive Agent.

CONFÉDÉRATION INTERALLIÉE DES OFFICIERS MÉDICAUX DE RÉSERVE (CIOMR)

CIOMR, or Interallied Confederation of Medical Reserve Officers, is an association of the national medical services of the NATO member states and other nations associated with the CIOMR. ROA has been designated by the U.S. Department of War to be the Executive Agent for CIOMR. The U.S. delegation is comprised of ROA members and other selected individuals.

INTERALLIED CONFEDERATION OF RESERVE NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS (CISOR)

CISOR is a confederation of Senior Non-Commissioned Officers with a similar purpose to CIOR and its relationship to NATO. While the United States is not currently a member of CISOR, ROA members who are Senior NCOs may attend CISOR events under the MOA between CIOR and CISOR. ROA remains the U.S. Department of War Executive Agent for all NATO Reserve Associations.

    PAN AMERICAN UNION OF ARMED FORCES RESERVE OFFICERS (UPORFA)

    UPORFA is an association consisting of the democratic countries in North America, Central America, South America, and the island nations of the Caribbean. UPORFA promotes the value and use of reservists to support the missions of the armed forces in the Western Hemisphere. ROA is the United States representative at UPORFA. All members of ROA are eligible to participate.
